Eighteen-year-old Virginia loves spending time with her family but she’s looking forward to a quiet weekend photographing nature with her family all out of town.

 

Then her dad gets sick the night before he’s supposed to take her brothers on the guys’ long–awaited canoe trip. She’s stayed far away from any canoes ever since she was in a terrible wreck as a young girl, but she offers to drive her brothers to the outfitters in northern Minnesota, hoping she’ll be able to stay on dry land.

But once there, she must face her fear or else her brothers will lose out on the special trip they’ve been waiting for all year. Can Virginia find the courage and determination to go all the way, no matter what happens, or will she let her fear steal more memories waiting around the riverbend?
